“In my time at Terra Firma, there has never been a dull moment”
When did you join Terra Firma?
I joined Terra Firma in 1999, back then there were just 12 of us in the company and the sole focus was project management and project controls. Things have changed a lot since then.
What have been the highlights of your career?
During my time at Terra Firma I’ve worked on a large variety of projects in a number of different locations including Port Macquarie and Hong Kong as a couple of memorable examples. Along the way, I’ve faced lots of challenges, learnt a lot and loved every minute of it – and that includes the tough times! I’ve worked on projects that have been so satisfying you can really see the positive difference you are making to the client and the people you’re working with. In short, I’ve had a very varied consulting career and this is still the case today.
I came from a construction and engineering background, and these skills meant I was well placed in a project planning and scheduling role. It’s something I’m good at and very much enjoy. These days I tend to be the 2IC to the project manager, keeping an all-encompassing view of the project as well as managing the schedule.
“I’ve worked on projects with phenomenal teams of people and even though I’ve been with Terra Firma for a long time, there has never been a dull moment.”
What are you looking forward to in your career at Terra Firma?
As a consultant with many years of experience in the field, I look forward to mentoring and sharing what I’ve learnt with fellow consultants. I also look forward to continuing the work I do with our clients, and leveraging my skills and experience to make a positive impact.
