What we are doing?
We have a range of initiatives underway to support a more diverse and inclusive environment in every instance, and these are a few of the things we are doing;
- Set Gender targets to achieve a 50/50 split at Terra Firma Group along with pay parity;
- Focusing on how to make these changes a part of our culture, through awareness & education to adopt consciously inclusive behaviours and reduce unconscious bias;
- Celebrating our diverse workforce by actively participating in & championing International Women’s Day, Are You OK? Day and World AIDS Day;
- By partnering with different charities each year, we are changing the community culture and mindset around violence towards women, homelessness, family units, etc;
- Adopting different ways to support new parents, and creating an environment where flexibility is a given.
We have pledged to meet a 50/50 split of women in our workforce and pay parity. We are actively seeking to employ more female candidates but also train and promote the women we already have.
With greater female representation and diversity in our workforce and leadership, we can tap into a much broader range of leadership styles, experiences, market insights, and skills to manage our business, delight our customers, and achieve our commitments.
Women at Terra Firma is a community that positively engages women within Terra Firma in activities within our company and externally. Women at Terra Firma embraces women of all abilities and backgrounds, with a positive philosophy of fun and inclusion.
We run a quarterly Women at Terra Firma forum with speakers, breakfast, ideas and networking in Melbourne.
